Weydon team meet buddies in Ayensudo-Akwaaba!

Partner Schools Worldwide > Weydon School and Ayensudo Islamic JHS > Weydon team meet buddies in Ayensudo-Akwaaba!

DAY 3-Tuesday, 24th July 2018
In the morning we ate breakfast, packed up our stuff and said medasi and good bye to the guest house.
When we left Accra the scenery around became more desolate and all around us were lush and tropical plants.
The journey was long but fun, everyone was excited, taking lots of group photos.

On the way to Ayensudo we made a pit stop at the Partner Ghana office, dropped off our valuables and met the team who would be coming on the trip with us.
When we arrived we were bombarded by children running towards the vans, waving at us and shouting happily.

When we finally got out of the vans the children insisted on taking our luggage for us and carried even the heaviest bags on there heads.

The day was eventful and fun. We danced and played until the late evening and we went and visited the chief who welcomed us warmly to Ayensudo.

At the end of the day we chilled out under the canopy chatting and laughing until bedtime.
