Sports training and painting of murals

Partner Schools Worldwide > Reading Blue Coat and Ankwanda JHS > Sports training and painting of murals

Day 13-17 July 2018
Practice for the big Ghana-England football match begun last night with a brutal game of one touch one bounce, Harry and Jack falling victim to skills of James, Pricey and Mr. Hartland. Later, penalty training for the team went well, showing promise for tomorrow’s game. This morning was just as early as normal, but after pancakes for breakfast we were all ready for the day. A solid days work saw the mural very nearly completed, and looking incredible. Improvements were made to the paintwork all over, and even the mason decided to get up from his seat and do his job (which surprised us all). After the days work had been completed, the team set about preparing for tomorrow, for sports day and the big game. Work shirts had names and numbers painted on for a uniform on the pitch. Finally, barber James is back in business and, after a shaky start on George it seems the trims are getting better.
