Day 4- 26th October 2017
Yesterday was our first full day on the project. We painted the first classroom successfully , a glowing yellow. Then we managed to complete the second in the afternoon but that was a much slower process due to the scorching sun! Food was great again, Red Red was a huge hit amongst us and will definitely be on the menu again. We are all in “Ghana mode” and enjoying the slower pace of life. We’ve had a tailor come to the guest house and all of us have ordered shirts or trousers hopefully they should arrive tomorrow. A highlight for the whole group was at the end of the day when the young children finished school. The smile on there faces when we brought out the bubbles was magical. A moment none of us shall forget. Tomorrow we are aiming to complete the classroom and have a drumming lesson in the afternoon.
