Day 7: 26/7/17
We woke up on Wednesday at 8am to a breakfast of banana pancakes and bread before heading out to the school to do some project, we finished carving the big sign to go on the front of the outdoor classroom. And leveled out the ground ready for the benches. Later we went to a local house near the school where we learnt to grate cassava. And saw a bedroom, well and shower room. We came back to enjoy a dinner of rice, beans and fish before heading out to a farm that grew plantain, oranges and sugar cane. We tried the fresh oranges straight from the tree and they were delicious. Later in the evening we did story time with the buddies where we shared songs and tales of our home country’s.
