Day 8: 27/7/17
We were all very tired when we woke up today at 8 to some porridge. And as soon as we set off to the school we really began to feel dragged down. We fitted the wooden benches and fitted them into concrete holes we dug under the shelter. After nailing the mural to the benches we returned back to the base where we had lunch which was corn beef sandwiches. After this we got our boro tops that Danny let us use for our football match against the other kids from Weydon School. We walked down to the pitch which was grass but had some balled patches we played 20 minutes a half as soon as we kicked off they scored 3 goals and then we got one back during the second half we scored 2 to get a draw. Then it went to extra time and no one scored, so therefore it went to penalties and we won 5 – 2.
