Day 7: Thursday 31st March 2016

Surprisingly we were not ready rudely awoken by the rain but by Troy and Casey shaking our tents and clapping in our faces. Dazed and confused I proceeded to put choco and what I taught was pancakes but was quickly informed that it was eggies in the shape of a pancake. We then decided who was teaching what subject. Matt and Melissa chose Math, Ellie and Casey taught Science and Troy and I(Max) taught the similarities and differences of U.S.A and Ghana and showed the class how to write essay.
Near the end of our teaching Paddy told me and Troy we should teach about American football which quickly led to going outside and playing. After that we finished painting our mural of the tree on the wall of the school and then we sat lunch and wait for Kobi to come so we could have him teach us how to drum and dance like Ghanaians. The girls taught the drumming was harder and the boys taught the dancing was harder.
We then finished painting the last classroom and then we were invited to our buddies houses and me and Troy learned how to plant cassava plants which is what you used to make fufu. Next we played soccer for hours with Musa and some of the kids, and Finaly danced around the fire until it was time to go to bed.
Overall I would say it was the most exhausting day of the entire trip.
Max.
