Last Day in Sri Lanka 😭😭
Well, that went quickly.
Today marks our last full day in Sri Lanka and what a time we have had. Starting with MEF and moving on to the incredibly hospitable people at the Janoda foundation. The experiences we have had are astonishing and the friendships we have created will last a lifetime but sadly all good things must come to an end.
Anyway, Today we started with a quick visit to the Pre-School to give them our display we had made out of there handprints and then moved on to the Tzu Chi school where we learnt a dance routine that we had to preform in a following assembly.
We then went back to Janoda for our last lunch which was followed by trips to the remainder of the buddies houses.
Everyone then made their back to Janoda where we had miscellaneous events such as fire eating and somewhat strange dancing that I don’t think many of us what to remember followed by speeches from some buddies, Mrs Copeman, Karu and yours truly, Ed. The floor was then opened for us and our buddies to dance and then we had to say our goodbyes.
