Elmina Castle Visit

Day 6: 26/7/17

We started that day at around 6:00 and then had breakfast at around 7:00. Everyone had pancake/ bread and jam along with coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Our buddies were told to arrive at 7am but they came at around 8am and we then all left at 8:30am. The first place we went to was Elmina Castle where we had a tour of the dungeons and the rooms and then we went to the top which had a great view of the town and the ocean. At the castle, there were two shops were we could buy bracelet or necklaces. We then went to the market and a few people bought farics before getting back onto the minibus to go to Ayensudo. At Ayensudo we saw the people in the team and watched the kindergarten graduation. In a part of this, the kids dressed up in clothes from different countries and danced around. We were then meant to join in the sport day activities but there was not antmore time so we came back to Dwabor and played with the children for a while until we had dinner. We went to bed at around 8:30pm
