Friday 2nd August
Day 13 (the unlucky day, Faye’s birthday).
The day began with us hanging the bunting, however I may have ruined that by shouting ‘she’s coming’. We were then blessed with Marys pancakes on the beach, yet again Sophia dropped the fresh nutella in the sand. We then sung happy birthday to faye and she opened her presents which she then lost within the first 20 seconds, also in the sand. This ended up delaying the whole trip by an hour, however we have now made it to north Ghana in the volta region, on the way I spotted babbons but thought they were baby elephants so shouted ‘look at the baby elephants!’ Missing you all ! Faye is missing Steven on her birthday and Fran got a bit emotional from missing thomson, nat and Joe.
