Relaxing day at Stumble Inn

Thursday 1st August

Day 12

In the wilderness We woke up quite late (in comparison to the rest of the trip) and had breakfast of toast and scrambled egg at 8.00. Whilst the mask making and batik making groups started their lickle projects, what was left of the cooking and washing teams washed up all the utensils. Chloe kinda failed her mask making and Malik had to fix it for her so she won’t bring a terrible one home. Drum making started at about half 11 which was also when the batik group switched to mask making. For drum making it was only me and Lozza (who failed dramatically at tying knots). Then lunch! By this time it was about 1.30 ish and we had to do beads. I made a necklace and an anklet while Chloe gave up after about an hour and a half so Max took her place and made about double the things she did. Then our chocolate arrived and we sat on the rocks and picnic benches relaxing. Then me and Max had our shower while the rest of the team played Volleyball with Kwame. Then it was dinner time where we had noodles and sauce which was delicious (thank you Mary!). Afterwards we had pineapple and circle time. In circle time we played charades of the thing we’ve enjoyed most so far and the funniest thing so far. Chloe and Caroline forfeited so had to do human wheelbarrow which we all ended up joining in on. This progressed into us doing human pyramid and me, Chloe and Max playing uno before getting to bed early.
