Discovering more of Ghana with their buddies

Partner Schools Worldwide > Weydon School and Ayensudo Islamic JHS > Discovering more of Ghana with their buddies

Saturday 27th July

Day 7
We woke up and were pleasantly surprised by some porridge and bread (we love Mary).
After that we were herded onto the buses with our buddies and set off on our way to do the canopy walk. On the journey me and Chloe set ourselves challenges to be silent for 10 minutes. We succeeded with great difficulty. Max desperately needs the toilet the whole journey.
On the canopy walk we were enjoying the breathtaking views. We had to be quiet when walking through the forest because we didn’t want to get eaten by snakes.
Then we went to Hans cottage where we saw crocodiles (at first we thought they were statues but then one of them moved). Max, Elliot and Zach almost got left behind in the toilets.
On the drive back me and Chloe kept jamming out to songs that Elliott picked out and doing all the choreography to high school musical. We learnt that Elliott was amazing at picking songs ( the buddies slept through our great singing).
Then we carried on with the volleyball net and the murals.
After dinner Chloe, Faye and me sung all the pitch perfect songs with the choreography whilst we did the washing up.
Also Max finally found his fan which was under Maya’s bed (emotional reunion).
