Martin High School transferred to host community Ayensudo

Partner Schools Worldwide > Martin Cedars High School and Nsadwer Basic School > Martin High School transferred to host community Ayensudo

DAY 2 – 3rd July 2019

The second day was a day of travel where we got to see the Ghanaian lifestyles from the outside. After waking up at around half past six, we gathered our group and had a spring onion omelette and French bread for breakfast. Then we gathered our suitcases and set off to ‘Trashy Bags’ where we learned about how Ghana reuses old plastic water pouches. After this we began our three hour journey close to the school we’re visiting tomorrow. The journey was hot and tiring despite doing very little except admiring the views. For lunch we had spaghetti with a mildly spicy sauce followed by watermelon, while having Jollof for dinner followed by mango while discussing our plans for sports day and our initiation into the community. We have also met all the staff at Partner Schools Worldwide who are all very hospitable. We are really looking forward to working with them.

Sam and Tom.
