Emotional day for us and our buddies as we par ways but the memories will stay forever

Partner Schools Worldwide > Lord Wandsworth and Egyeikrom > Emotional day for us and our buddies as we par ways but the memories will stay forever

Last day with our Buddies

Before the closing ceremony which included drumming and dance and fire eating performance, we took a trip to the clinic inside the refugee camp armed with medical supplies. The clinic is very simple and has to be able to treat 1000 people. The pharmacy is just a cupboard in the office and the records are stacked up on bookshelf for anyone to take. The local GP room had a desk and a bed and the labour ward only had a curtain as a door. The little equipment we took out will help them enormously and I think was a huge eye opener for us all.Saying goodbye to the school for the last time to a serenade of goodbyes, waves and applause, we headed back for the Buddy buffet. Eating a plethora of different foods, we then exchanged gifts and finally said an emotional goodbye to our buddies and prepared for the end of the trip. We spend the last night in a beach guesthouse.
