Martin High School received a warm welcome in Nsadwer community

Partner Schools Worldwide > Martin Cedars High School and Nsadwer Basic School > Martin High School received a warm welcome in Nsadwer community

Day 3 – Thursday, 4th July 2019

Today was an experience to remember. After a delicious breakfast of pancakes made by Mercy, we went to Nsadwir basic school and got to meet our buddies. On arrival we were greeted by everyone and had a welcome ceremony which included a lot of dancing, except for Mr White who manged to get away with not dancing (but not for long, haha) It also included scenes on how to greet people in the morning, afternoon and evening and how to treat elderly people with respect. Then we had lunch and we all tried fun ice and fun choco, which was exquisite. After lunch we met our buddies and played netball and a bit of football. Which was a lot of fun. Saying goodbye to everyone we set off on another journey 5 minutes down the road to another school, here we ran out of fingers as every child wanted to hold our hands. As the beach was only a couple minutes walk from the school, we went to investigate. This is where Tom, Toby, Sam and Eoin were trying to run away from the sea as the tide came in. After a lot of excitement for the day we headed back to the guest house, where we played table tennis and of course had dinner. We are all excited to go back tomorrow and visit our buddies homes and farms. After eating we are now sitting down to an evening of board games.

Chloe.
