Day 18-24 July 2018
We enjoyed another western meal last night and relaxed after a long day traveling. Despite waking up bright and early for an 8.00 departure we left at 9.30 in true Ghanaian style. We climbed what was thought to be the highest point in Ghana until we reached the top and saw a mountain noticeably higher than ours. But it was the highest point we could climb to and had lollies to celebrate at the top. After
we descended the mountain we stopped for lunch before heading on to the waterfall. This was a great end to the trip although we did underestimate the power of the waterfall’s spray. We returned to our hotel for the second night which included a quiz night and group awards. We are all very exited to get back home in time for the Love Island finale.
