Day 12. Tuesday, 17th July 2018

Sorry to all parents but today was a sad day. We woke up and had our favourite breakfast of pancakes.

There was a sorrowful goodbye (mostly to the puppy) and most importantly Rosie gave her final goodbyes to Fred (rip Frosie). We finished some last minute packing in our dark rooms and boarded thankfully an air-conditioned bus… stumbling out of Stumble Inn for the last time. We had a group sleep and silent time as we prepared for the long 25 hour journey ahead; a journey that will be totally worth it after an amazing 2 weeks in Ghana (as long as there’s no explosive laughter from Laurence) .

Thank you to Mrs Brown for her support and Mr Knell for his puns… don’t worry Sir we haven’t had un oeuf of them yet. Canard-ly believe this trip is over already.

See you all soon 🙂

Written by Alice and Lucy… accompanied by Laurence’s laughter.

P.S. goodbye and thank you to Kwame for everything these past two weeks… We will all miss you (especially Sophie and Laurence).
