Today we started our long day of traveling, starting with a early 5.30am start.
We began our journey with a 2 hour bus ride to Kandy Station. We had a quick break half way through at a amazing bakery, where they sold many delicious breads that were definitely needed after the early start!

When we arrived at the station we had a short break until the train arrived. After the confusion with the seats, we were all settled in. The journey seemed to go by much faster then we anticipated due to the amazing views and strange foods, where Toby bought many miscellaneous items like Vegetable Donuts and a very hot pepper!
Before we knew it the train ride was over, and it was time to catch another 2 hour bus journey to the Jenoda Foundation.

When we arrived we were kindly greeted and showed to our rooms, which were a huge upgrade from our old other rooms at MEF! We were given time to unpack and sort our rooms, before we had dinner – Noodles and Chicken, which was extremely nice.

Although it was a very long and tiresome day, it was a great start to our time at the Jenoda Foundation, and we are looking forward to the rest of our time here!
