DAY 8: Friday, 23 October 2015

This morning, everyone woke up in anticipation of the great day to come. After a morning of finishing off previous mural and designing two more of a loin and giraffe, it really looked like the projects was coming together.
We stop painting at 10 o’clock to commence the sports day. We started the event with SWPS vs Bantuma volley ball match which to our surprising SWPS were victorious. Our volleyball success was met with a brief dance party from the local pre-prep to popular Ghanaian music. After this we were given our first lesson in handball before playing a very competetive match against Bantuma. After a hot but fun attempt at handball we all welcome our lunch with open arms.
Sweaty and over-heating, we got back to our orange truck to travel back to Stumble Inn. We had a very relaxing afternoon, enjoying much needed showers with the renewed water supply and had a delicious meal of rice and egg stew with full tummies. We headed to bed reflecting on all the hard work we had completed that day.
