Happy 16th Birthday to Majestica:D
Started the day at 6am… Never need to wake up early again!!! All essentials packed we had our final meal made by the wonderful cook Beatrice. Omelette and bread washed down with a brew.
For the final time we ventured down the village, a happy stream of goodbyes and good lucks shouted at us along the way to the school. Handing the project over to the community with sigh of relief at the aspect of… NO MORE PAINTING!!!!!
We then had pictures taken in front of the mural with our buddies. We then had the pleasure to be handed gifts by our buddies. Things like traditional Ghanaian clothes, shoes and accessories along with pictures to remember them by.
Saying our final goodbyes the buddies broke down into tears… We weren’t far behind. We then got a gift of a bongo drum keying each off the community and sugarcane to lighten the mood.
Truck full of heavy luggage, we were on the road again…
Stumble Inn is a beautiful holiday resort on the beach. Shopping and dining we weighed ourselves down with souvenirs for family back in the UK.
Lunch by the sea, to the sound of the waves is blissful!
For the final time we set off again… See you tomorrow!!!
