Bye bye paint! Hello buffet!

Partner Schools Worldwide > St. Mary's/Amisano Catholic > Bye bye paint! Hello buffet!

Yesterday we got up at the usual time, 6 am. We had coffees and Milo’s with pineapple jam on pancakes. After breakfast we set off to the high school to finish off painting, when we finished off painting we chilled out for a bit and played some games with our pen pals before heading back to the seminary for dinner. This was fun!

For dinner we had spaghetti bolognese, it was really good!

After dinner we went upstairs to pack our suitcases, which took a very long time. We packed our suitcases and chilled out until tea time.

Our pen pals joined us for tea which was a buffet. There was lots of different varieties of food, there was chicken, 3 different types of rice, fried yam balls, plantain, goat curry, cabbage curry, beans and pasta salad. It was really good!

After tea we presented the head teacher, the school, and sir Daniel with presents thanking them for the work they did with us. After that we said goodbye to our buddies and some of them got a bit emotional.

We then went back up to our rooms to sleep, ready for the next day. Preparing for a nice relaxed trip to the capital, not before a meal and shopping trip at Stumble inn.
