Beat to the Rhythm of the Drum

Partner Schools Worldwide > St. Mary's/Amisano Catholic > Beat to the Rhythm of the Drum

Today we woke up to have tom brown (Weetabix of sorts!!!). After breakfast we set off to the school for another day of painting. It was hard work with the sun beaming down on our necks but we managed it in the end; another whole classroom and the outside of the high school, it looks so much better! We just have to finish a bit of the wall and two more classrooms. After we finished painting we set off back to the seminary for dinner; we had tuna sandwiches, they were delicious. About 30 minutes later a drummer and dancer came in to teach us how to hit certain parts of the drum to make a different sounds, the dancer taught us their welcome dance, it was really fun! For tea we had spagbol yum yum!! and played some games afterwards. Then weather changed and it started chucking it down We got told we might not be going to the rainforest! … everyone really wants to go to the rainforest! So if it is cancelled we would just be in the seminary all day! let’s hope it’s ok tomorrow!! After we got told that news some of us had to fill our buckets up for showers and they got drenched lol. Now it is time for all of us to set of for bed *yawn*.
