Day 5
Today we awoke with the beautiful smell of eggy bread and got ready as fast as we could to have a full hard days work on the playground. Thankfully it wasn’t too hot.
After a few hours of very hard work we stopped to have a well earned lunch and played with the kids for about an hour. We had brought some little toy cars and bubbles. They thought the bubbles were fantastic and were wanting to play with them for hours but they had to go back to class.

As the day was getting hotter and hotter we began to just do the finishing touches of the day and started to clear it up.
Finally we were finished for the day and went back to camp for some cold refreshing cola. Beautiful!!

Day 6
As we were walking up to the school with our full tummies from some delicious pancakes and nutella we were greeted by a number of different people because it was there community day and there were very few people at work.

It was a very fun day because there was not much building work to be done it was just the finishing touches. We finally finished the balancing beam and we had competitions to see who could stay on for the longest.

We were soon finished because we were only working half a day because we were going to have a drumming and dancing afternoon with our buddies. Everybody had a go at the dancing and drumming with some very natural ‘movers’ amongst us.
When the buddies arrived at our camp we played a few games with them before we started. They really enjoyed it when Mr Bell and Ben played each other in a game of twister. Hilarious!!
The teachers finally came and we were split into 3 groups with our buddies. 2 groups were dancing and 1 was drumming. It was a lot of fun. A few hours passed and our buddies had to go back, so we cleared up and had a relaxing night. Some were in bed before 7pm!
