Day 4
Woke up early at 6:30 after it was pouring down with rain all night zzzzzz
Went down to the playground to clean up the site to start project work, we swept the floor and then for the rest of the day we were trying to get the cement out of the ground which wasn’t easy… GIRL POWER
On our tea break we saw a snake in the bushes and the girls started screaming (some boys) and the Ghanaian picked it up with a stick and 5 year olds started attacking it with a stick and flinging it everywhere!!!
Agustina a Ghanaian cook came to the school and cooked interesting meal… not to everyones liking, it was groundnut paste with vegetables in it and a ball of rice. Later that night we then walked down to the shop in the village and brought juice in sachets because the water hear tastes like chlorine ☹ as well as that we brought pea biscuits.
Was quite a lazy day because supplies hadn’t arrived yet and due to the weather we were not able to do certain tasks.
We have been having really long days, so surprisingly we are all in bed by 8:30 and everyone asleep by 9!!
