SWPS continues project work at Bantuma M/A

Partner Schools Worldwide > Sir William Perkins School and Bantuma JHS > SWPS continues project work at Bantuma M/A

Day 8 Wednesday, 18th October 2017.
This morning we woke up to the sweet smell of pancakes and bananas; they were delicious!! We then walked to the school and were greeted by all the children. To continue our cupboard project, we sanded all the doors and wood down in order to use them for each classroom. We spent the rest of the morning painting the interior of the cupboard space – very tiring and we were glad to sit down and have sandwiches for lunch. After a quick rest, we went to a bead making workshop along with our buddies. We made a variety of necklaces, bracelets and earrings and were very proud indeed!! After a long day of hard work, we came home for a nice cold shower and a game of volleyball; both teams winning once. For dinner we had kebabs and sweet potato chips; also delicious!!! To finish the night we sat around the fire singing Ghanaian songs, before heading off to bed and getting ready for our last day.
