Sunday started off with the calling of a bullied goat at 5am in the morning which was music to everyones ears. After getting into our Sunday best, we met our buddies and headed into the village. We visited three churches starting off with the biggest Catholic church. In sharp contrast to the UK most of us enjoyed the service as they filled with dance and plenty of African drumming. Following that we ventured down to the Pentecost Church to be met by a warm welcome with equal amounts of singing and dancing. The final church we visited was the Methodist church which was luckily in English. After returning and getting into to swim wear we headed for the beach. Within seconds of arriving we were all in the sea mucking about. On the journey back we got into a battle of song exchanging football chants and British classics (wonderwall)to their gospel songs. After which to realise they were singing the same three songs over and over and over. After returning we parted with our buddies and relaxed for the evening.

Monday was a successful day for the team in terms of the project. We made good progress in painting two kindergartens classrooms along with shutters ad doors as well as starting on the foyer. This has created a far better learning environment for the children and we are confident it will look great when finished.
In the evening we spent time with our buddies before going to bed after a tiring day.
