Today we woke up at 6:30, after breakfast we got on the bus with our buddies. We drove for 3 hours before arriving at the tea plantation. To begin we had a tour around the grounds learning about miscellaneous tea plants. After that we went into the factory to see how the leaves were dried and prepared for the tea. Later on we tried sapphire oolong tea with a slice of chocolate cake which we appreciated a lot! We then visited the tea museum and tried all the teas made in the plantation, before buying lots of tea to bring home.
After a Sri Lankan fast food lunch of chicken and rice we travelled into a town called Galle were we saw the Dutch ancient Galle fort. After that we drove around the town stopping at lots of view points were we saw a beautiful scenery of the beach, Soon after we stopped at the fruit market and brought lots of Sri Lankan fruit including red bananas. After a long day we drove back to the foundation to eat dinner. It was a really good day and nice to spend more time with our buddies.

Team: ” what should you wear with a dress?”
