Today we travelled to the school to begin our project work. We began by splitting into two teams; one to saw the gutter pipes and one to dig a hole for the foundations. Afterwards locals mixed cement and we all worked together to carry to the hole so we could make the foundations. We waited for it to set by playing football and volleyball with the locals. We got beaten. After the concrete set we built the base out of blocks and put them together with mortar.
After this the project finished for the day and we had a drum and dance workshop that was good. Then we came back and had rice balls and groundnut soup for tea, which was nice and then we watched Monsters Inc.
