SWPS completed all projects and handed them over to the schools.

Partner Schools Worldwide > Sir William Perkins School and Bantuma JHS > SWPS completed all projects and handed them over to the schools.

Day 9. All groups woke up and had a variety of dishes for breakfast. After we had been fully satisfied we set off in our groups to the two schools. Group One and Three headed to Bantuma and completed two classrooms with lovely shades of brown and yellow followed by colourful diagrams of computers, alphabets, numbers and many other paintings on the walls. Group One also helped to set up the new computer room for the school as all the items arrived in typical Ghanaian style. We managed to set up a projecter and three computers leaving the rest in the hands of the Bantuma teachers. After we finished we joined group two and by then group three at the next school where they were still working hard on their components of the playground. Group two had been sanding down the wood for health and safety reasons. They cleaned the tires ready for painting. By the time group three got there painting was well underway and the colourful playground was coming to life. By the time group One arrived after lunch all that was left to do was smoothing the ground and making it look pretty. We then sat down for the first handover talk of the evening and then we had an eventful journey back to the Stumble where we are currently eagerly awaiting the arrival of our buddies ready to say a final farewell …
