Day 3 – Tuesday, 22nd October 2019
We had a fabulous rather sweltering day. The connection between our buddies and got stronger and stronger as we had our outreach program and workshop where we went to the local Islamic school to see their classroom quality and then went and taught the kids how to build essential shelters.
As we walked through the Islamic school they were not just happy but thrilled to see us. They run towards us and hug us with all their might until we can no longer stand.
The shelter building was very successful as initial ideas where to build a square but at the end of the workshop there all were safe from the rain in their trianglular.
