Day 2 – Sunday, 20th October 2019
Today we traveled from Accra to Elmina. The journey took a long time but when we arrived we were greeted with lots of friendly faces and some incredible food. After lunch we walked to the market in the weirdly warm rain which was a positive change from English rain. At the market we got a lot of stares and smiles from many of the locals. We tried tiger nuts which were described as “juicy almond’s”. The accommodation is very nice but three of the biggest spiders ever have been spotted. The dinner was fried fish, jolloff and salad with stupendous pineapple to finish. Overall today has been a great taster into Ghana and our days ahead.
Lots of love Hogan Sam and Jamie. xx
