Day 3- Friday, 18th October 2019

Group 2

See the joint entry for the morning. After the amazing welcoming dances and cultural workshop, we split into our groups for some SDG (sustainable development goals) based workshops with our buddies. In Group 2, we were taught by a lovely lady about clean water and sanitation, which are things lots of us take for granted in England. We took a difficult quiz about clean water and sanitation with the highest in our group being 8/15. We then observed the houses around the school assessing the clean water and sanitation. Armed with that knowledge, we whipped out the paint brushes and colouring pens and made posters. They were about the key topics of clean water and sanitation such as washing hands before eating. We then said goodbye to our buddies and headed back to Stumble Inn. We cooled down in the showers. But the weather gifted us with it’s own shower- a massive storm. Thunder, lightning, all the works! We are heading to bed, looking forward to the night in the jungle tomorrow!
