Friday 26th July
Day 6
We woke up a bit late so we had to rush to help Mary with the cooking. We had scrambled egg and toast and it was exquisite. It was Elliot’s birthday so he opened his cards and presents. Then we did our classroom projects which were art, electronics, drama ,geography. They were fun and helped the children in a fun way. After we had finished, we came back and had lunch which was SPRING ROLLS! They were delectable. Then, as Elliott’s birthday surprise we went to the BEACH! It was really fun and we all got soaking wet, as Elliott pushed us all in the water. Then we all went back on the big orange bus. When we had successfully returned, we were delighted to be happily slurp some ice creams in bags. Some of us cleansed our souls with some refreshing showers. Then we ate our dinner, which was yams which are big potatoes and beef which is cow. We sat round the campfire and cracked open a cold bottle of bubbly (don’t worry it wasn’t alcohol) and cake which was orange. Then we sang songs and went to bed.
