Day 7 -Monday, 8th July 2019
Day seven, after having a wonderful breakfast of omelette cooked by Mercy. We headed to the Nsadwir basic school for our first day on the project. After taking down all the posters and moving the tables into the middle of the room, the painting began! All four walls were painted and then it was time for us to be creative with colour. We started with shapes above the chalkboard using different colours. Whilst some of us were painting fruit on the walls, Toby was drawing the outline of the alphabet , Mr White was painting a tree ready for story corner and some of the buddies were painting shells collected from the beach the day before. After having to finish decorating for the day, due to failing light, we came back to the guesthouse to have fried rice and chicken for dinner. We then had some well earned tea, biscuits and Ghanaian chocolate . We are ready for another day on the project and sports day tomorrow.
