Day 6-26th July 2018
Today, we started off with banana pancakes for breakfast, then headed back to the school to continue with our project. We started painting the canteen we’d funded, as well as decorating some of the primary classrooms. We had lunch, which was macaroni and bolognelese sauce. Then we left the school to head to Elmina, to buy chocolate and biscuits. We then headed back to the hotel and relaxed, before having dinner of rice with tomato sauce, vegetables and baked beans, along with fresh watermelon for desert. A man arrived with Ghanaian clothes, bags, paintings and drums to sell, that were very beautiful. Afterwards we relaxed for the evening and then headed for bed. Overall, the day was calm but filled with excitement and things to do!
