Hello there England

Today was quite spiffing. We all woke up usual time and got clean ready for the day. We trotted upstairs for a bit of breakie which was rice accompanied by chicken. We all found this strange as few of the clan had had this before. Tom had a good idea and put sugar and banana with the rice which he stated was in fact ‘pretty sweet’.

Speedily afterwards we made our way to Tzu Chi School. There we met our buddies and played some fabulous activities. Everyone enjoyed Emily and Tom’s drama game called Opposites. It was quite the exquisite experience chillin’ with the lovely Sri Lankan kiddos.

We made it home after a long 2 minute journey to lunch which had been beautifully prepared by our lovely Buddhi. We all found the lunch very tastŶ. After lunch we submerged our tastebuds with exotic fruit, such as: dragon fruit; guava; pomegranate and sugar cane.

We then went to the preschool where we were entertained by the young kids with their spectacular performances. It was a delight to witness how wonderful their English is at such a young age. Next some people made a start with the mural painting which is going to look amazing when complete.

We chilled in the evening and got a shed load of washing done ‘n’ dusted. Dinner came along which was once again delicious. The team said I aced my review which made me a very proud leader.

Goodnight from Sri Lanka and good afternoon in the UK and good morning if you are reading this in morning.

Peace from the east

Matt LM
