Day 2: 22/07/17 To start off the day we woke up around 6:30 to have breakfast at 7:20, we had bread and omelette with some hot drinks such as Milo and tea. After breakfast we loaded our bags to leave to Dwabor and Ayensudo to greet our buddies and the children. So then we headed to the minibus for our long journey which was 4 hours long. We arrived at Ayensudo at 1pm to children waving and hugging us, filled with excitement. Following a fantastic meal of spaghetti and egg, we then left to Dwabo and said our temporary goodbye to the other team. The ride started off smooth and them became vert bumpy on the dirt track but then led us to the children of Dwabor waiting on the road, ready to greet us. As we climbed off the minibus they all gave us big hugs and high five to great us and welcome us.
We then began to unpack and set up our mosquito nets and beds for the evening. Afterwards we hung out with our buddies and played with the children until tea, where we had rice and fish around 7 and briefed our team to become familiar with our roles for the next few days.
