Day 13: 15/07/17
With some sadness yet excitement to be reunited with friends, family and a warm, relaxing bath and bed, students woke and rushed to pack away all last belongings into rucksacks. Pancakes started the morning as our last meal made for us by our lovely cooks, Mercy and Judith. Our dedicated buddies took it upon themselves to come give us a last farewell on their Saturday morning. Hugs with the little villagers who were now attached friends, made many students tearful as over this trip real real connections have been made between everyone as they have been so welcoming towards us.

Waving came from every direction as our bus finally drove us away to our first stop. We arrived at the Partner Ghana Base where belongings such as phones were given back. Many reflected and commented on how just two weeks ago they wouldn’t dream of leaving their hand glued device without the desire to check their social media and texts. But we did it! However tired we may be , we are going to miss our Ghanaian friends and lifestyle but thank Partner Ghana and our two amazing teachers for successful and enjoyable trip, where we have made memories and stories to last a lifetime. We are so grateful for this experience.
Medaase(thank you) Ghana!
