Day 4 – 6/07/17
After an early 6 o’clock rise, and breakfast there was a trip to the beach, which was the first time we had visited for leisure. The beach trip was followed by a session of assisting the students with I.C.T and Library work. By the end of the sessions all the British students were all brought into the library and given lessons of Ghana’s history by various students. After lunch they saw us starting our official project work – masonry and carpentry much of which our buddies helped with. We then had dinner after an afternoon of hard work before taking another trip to the beach where many of the village children taught us games. Upon our return there was a sing song and story telling session beneath our gazebo with our buddies and other children from the village. Another good day.
