Position: Operations Training Manager
Location: Elmina, Ghana

About Us
Partner Schools Worldwide specialises in setting up long-term partnerships between secondary schools in the UK and Ghana and organising visits for the UK students and teachers to their partners in Ghana. These visits provide the opportunity for students and teachers to work (and play!) together in a live environment with their peers from their partner school. Real life collaboration across a host of fun educational, cultural and sporting workshops as well as exciting community or conservation project work enables students from each country to gain a real understanding of each other’s perspectives and develop mutual respect as well as an appreciation of their own cultural heritage.
Role
We are looking for a dynamic self-starter with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to mentor our Programme Operations Officer and operations team whilst delivering a series of trips over June & July.
Key responsibilities include:-
- Travel Logistics
Co-ordination trip administration & logistics for all visitors, volunteers and partner tour operators and clients; involving flights, accommodation, transport and activity bookings - Office Management
Support the Programme Partnership Manager with the smooth operation of the office to effectively deliver all activities including, where required, projects with our charity partners - Health & Safety
Ensure thorough training for all staff and inductions for all visitors to Ghana on supported programmes; updating risk assessments; ensuring safety standards are adhered to on all trips; management and maintenance of all vehicle, camping and safety equipment; providing an on-call service to visitors whilst in Ghana - Operations
Consolidation of operational policies & kit and equipment management procedure. - HR
We are committed to community development and an important part of the role is coaching and developing the Programme Operations Officer, Trip Guides and Trip Logistics Officers.

Compensation & Benefits
- All costs covered (mobilisation flights, accommodation in house, visa, travel insurance & £25k/pa pro rata depending on experience).
