Sad to leave, but a beautiful train journey!

Hello Everybody, Jess here!

Today we had to get up at 5:15 in the morning so we could set off on the bus at 6:00. However we ended up setting the alarm clock at 5:30, so we could get that 15 mins lay in, which was heaven. We had to drag all our heavy bags from our house all the way to the entrance. Sadly there was only one dog there to see us go. Setting off on the bus, we spent the next 2 hours chatting away, most of us too hyper to try and get to sleep.

The train station, there was a surprising small amount of people. Some people were thinking it would be very crowded like in places where people have to cling to the side of the train! (Which turned out to rubbish.) Once on the train, we spent the next 6 hrs; Snacking, trying to sleep, reading, chatting etc. Which on there, we saw some amazing views from towering mountains to lash forests, I had to move from my seat several times in order for people to take photos.

After finally getting off on the train, all the girls bundled in a ladies Loos waiting room while poor Hamish was forced to wait outside. Then we went on the bus once more, lasting another 2 hrs. Sent a good solid 20 mins listening to old 1990 and Early 2000s Pop songs, with all the people in the back going wild, singing along. After sending over 10 hrs traveling, we finally arrived at Janoda and it was amazing! It was so clean, lovely beds, modern looking bathrooms and so much more. Now that we’re here, the Leader/Deputy and team system has been put in place. We’re really excited for the next few days, it going to be really busy but fun. Going to be going to a pre-school in the morning and another school where we will meet our buddies, all happening to tomorrow.

A new blog will be posted by Lily, have a great week!

Claire Copeman – only because I’m totally green with envy and waiting for the next installment to come through! I’m finding this more time consuming than watching the webcams when they went skiing with their junior school!! ; I must say that it all sounds awesome! Long may it continue and full marks to you too for giving up your holiday time to go on such a dull trip!!!!!!! x

Oh wow Jess, what a long journey, but you all had seats, so glad you weren’t hanging on the outside of the train! I love the idea of you all singing along on the bus (yet again Esha….just like your mother!!). Loving all the news, well done BSLTE.
