Series 1: Episodes 5, 6, and 7

Series 1: Episode 5

Today we went into the rainforest to do the canopy walk and we were shaking the bridge which resulted in Mrs. Poskitt nearly crying. We then went to Hans Cottage and saw three crocodiles. Mr. Woods got to stroke one and we weren’t allowed because it wasn’t in the risk assessment- everyone wanted to too. Then we prepared for the lesson that we are going to teach to the children tomorrow which is all about making circuits. Next we helped make fufu by hitting/crushing cassaba for an hour before eating the only meal we haven’t like, but it was a great experience. Tomorrow we have to say goodbye to our buddies and I know it will get emotional. I can’t believe our experience is coming to an end – everything about it has been wonderful.

Series 1: Episode 6

Today we went to the school and we were in a class where Mr. Dunbar was teaching the children how to make different circuits. At the end of the lesson we gave the children water bottles that were donated by Everton.

The ceremony to celebrate what we had done for the school was today and we were given a stool that symbolised how much the school appreciated what we had done for them, we were also given a cocoa pod from one of the village elders.

We had a buffet and we enjoyed the food. Overall the day was amazing and I wouldn’t change it.
