Yesterday evening, before a good dinner of yam and spinach which was better than it sounds, we had a big football match, which was sick! We played England vs. Ghana and surprisingly won 11-10 even if we did need a few Ghanaians.

Today we all got up nice and early with a breakfast of eggy bread and honey. After this, we split off in to our project teams. As a group completed the mural and the another planned sports day which followed. In the afternoon, some of us went to paint the design that Fred had done as a mural on the wall of the library and made a good start to finish off when we next do projects.

In the afternoon having fully planned our sports day completely, we met in the field with the Ghanaians to carry it out. George, our chief announcer did a great job of organising the ceremony, as did Annie when she got mobbed by groups of the children trying to get the medals. During the event we did a variety of races including the three legged race, sprints, a hula hoop competition, and the orange and spoon as we had no eggs. Overall it was a brilliant day, as it was both productive and fun with the sports day being a highlight for everyone.
