Thursday 2nd August
This morning we got up early to finish our projects. Eggy bread bread for breakfast gave everyone the boost of energy they needed to try and bring most of the projects to a stop. In the afternoon, both our buddies and us took part in a drama workshop called TFAC (Theatre for a change). The aim of the workishop was to create a play informing the community about teenage pregnancy. The idea was to use forum theatre to get the community thinking about ways it could avoid future teenage pregnancies. By the end of the day we had a rough plan about the story as well as characters. After another hard day of work we all rested around the bonfire.
Everyone hopes their family is well and is excited about seeing their family and friends soon. Hope your not missing us too much 😉

Friday 3rd August
We got up early again today to finish our preparations for the teenage pregnancy performance. At 11 we went down to the village to set up. The performance went really well and the community got really involved. It was a great feeling creating an impact in the community. At lunch we had Banku (a native Ghanian dish) which didn’t go down too well! We spent the afternoon relaxing and spending time down in the village – mostly buying biscuits!
Bring everyone favourite foods to the airport, i think everyone’s missing some good british food! (That means scones mum)
