We started the day with a bit more dance practice for the performance this evening, I’m pretty sure we’ve got it nailed at this point, but you can judge when you see the video. This was followed by a visit to the salt farms, which were really cool, except the tour bus had zero suspension and the road was extremely bumpy.
We then spent afternoon packing and tidying the house, as well as finishing off a Buddhist shrine that we started building yesterday. In the evening we put on our Sarongs and Saris and Eliza painted the girl’s hands with henna ready for the leaving ceremony. Our buddies put on their best clothes ready for the celebrations which was due to finish at midnight. There was food, dancing and fire eaters plus our dance of course which made everyone smile. Tomorrow will be a long day and most of it will be spent travelling.
