Day 1 & 2: 8th and 9th February 2017

We arrived safely in Accra on Wednesday night and couldn’t believe the heat we were faced with. We transferred to the New Haven hotel and the city was incredibly busy. Yesterday we traveled 3 hours to Elmina where we are staying and took in the amazing views of our beach side hotel. We traveled to Eguafo village and we met the community during a fantastic welcome ceremony and we are very much looking forward to working with the community today.
