Kimbolton Easter Trip Day 7 – 9

Thursday, 2nd April 2015

We started another hard day of work at the school. It was nice to see the smiles on Ghanaians’ faces as the hard work finally concluded with Joe and Ms Kennedy painting another painting mural map of Africa and some Ghanaian girls painting mural flags of Ghana and the UK. It was very satisfactory finally opening the library for use for the students at Essaman United school.

Friday, 3rd April 2015

We woke up at 5:30 in the hope of seeing a sunrise however when our bus driver was an hour late that ideals was sunk like the bismarck we left for Kakum rainforest where we had in an interesting time on the canopy walk way that looked like it was about to break as it had cracks and holes however we survived and then went to the cocoa plantation that looked just like in a text book and we even got to sample cocoa beans before going to a crocodile farm.

Saturday, 4th April 2015

We went to Cape Coast and bought a variety of souvenirs after which we did drumming and dancing workshop with the buddies before saying goodbye for the last time.
