Hey, Megan here.
The last day of our fantastic holiday has consisted of facing the airport, entering with our bags knowing our holiday is nearing to an end however we are excited to get back to England and see our parents faces. Sri Lankan food has been amazing, but I can say on behalf of all of us that we miss English food!
The holiday has been a once in a lifetime opportunity and we all have created new friendships and memories we will never forget. Hang in their parents 10 hour until your peaceful break without us will be interrupted.
Signing off, and about to fly xxxx
So excited to hear all about you’d trip of a lifetime! Didn’t sound like much of a holiday to me …. more of a busy, busy 12 days! Safe travels and see you at the airport x
We concur IRO the holiday comment – our trips are not holidays!! We hope parents will notice that while in Sri Lanka the ambassadors were challenged to think, experience, understand, communicate with peers from a different cultural background and country at a different stage of development, broaden their global perspectives, develop a sense of who they are… whilst at the same time having fun and making friends – please tell us not everyone thought it a holiday?!
Maybe Megan always has challenging holidays? I do know her mum!
The flight status from SL airlines says predicted arrival 20.26 so see you all at Heathrow soon!
