Day 9-29th July 2018
We woke up in a good mood as we where able to sleep in till 8.00 as we had finished the project. For breakfast we had toast. After breakfast we relaxed as we were in no hurry. Around half 8 we got in the bus and headed to pick up the buddies and some of the teachers. After we picked up the buddies we headed to do the tree walk. When we got there we saw some wild life including a monkey, he was very greedy! We walked up hill so many found it tiring but there was a bit if hope at the top as we were able to rest before our walk on the tiny rocking planks of wood with some rope on the side! Some people had hatched a plan to jump so it would make the walk more interesting and scare those who are scared of heights. The group got split up in the end as some people moved quickly but others moved slowly. We then walked down hill no one slipped up. We had to stop for pictures. After we headed back down to where we started we had a look around the shops with our buddies but the others went to feed the monkey. We then went back to the bus and grabbed our packed lunches and headed to the picnic area to enjoy our spicy noodles made by Mercy. After lunch we got back on the bus and went to Cape Coast,we did not go into the castle we went to all the shops out side of it. There was one guy who was selling a picture of a chicken. The plan was to see crocodiles after but the queue was to long so pick up some chocolate! Went we got back at the guest house and the buddies joined us to play some games. After they left we settled down and had mashed yam with a spicy sauce, mixed with vegetables. After dinner we all settled down and enjoyed the rest of our night. We are all looking forward for an early start for tomorrow!
