Day 3 Friday, 13th October 2017
Today we left early for school after enjoying a delicious breakfast prepared by the cooks and the Year 10’s. We arrived at school and were slightly overwhelmed by the welcome but loved every second. The teachers at Bantuma school welcomed us with several speeches along with community singers and a dance with the buddies. However, when we joined in it didn’t look so fabulous! We then spent the afternoon completing projects such as cupboard building and wall murals. After an exhausting day we returned and went to a local hotel pool, which everyone enjoyed. The day finished with the Year 10’s preparing Spaghetti Bolognese, everyone had seconds!
