Cape Coast Chief welcomes Rokeby team

Partner Schools Worldwide > Rokeby School and Jubilee Catholic Boys > Cape Coast Chief welcomes Rokeby team

Day 3: 30/06/17

Today we did a lot of mind blowing things. First we went to the jubilee boys school to meet the staff and our buddies. When we battled from the heat to the school there was a very welcoming vibe that made us all feel at home. Our buddies were buzzing to meet us and we were buzzing to meet them too. Before we got parent up and introduce ourselves we had to visit the chief to show our respect and so we have his permission to stay in cape coast and look around. When we went to the chief’s palace we were very lucky to have him come as his presents is very rear. When the chief talked to us he spoke to us in English. As he did this it meant he had broken protocol which led to us having to ask his ancestors to forgive him after we took photos with him and headed back to the school. When we got back to this school we began to paint with our buddies. The painting was a good experience and we had a leather. After we brightened up and school we went to play footballs. That was my highlight of the day it was such a good match it was 5 – 5 and went to penalties. We won, then headed back for dinner, we were empty on energy.
